The New York Knicks narrowly escaped the Wells Fargo Center with a thrilling 118-115 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 6, propelling them into the Eastern Conference semifinals for the second consecutive NBA season—a feat not accomplished since 2000.

Brunson led the Knicks again with 41 points and 12 assists — his third straight game of at least 40 points in the series, just the second Knicks player and the seventh player in NBA history to achieve that in the postseason. Joel Embiid had 39 points for the 76ers.

In Game 6 at Wells Fargo Center against the Philadelphia 76ers, the Knickerbockers displayed plenty of both down the stretch to win the series.  New York got 41 points from Jalen Brunson, and countered Joel Embiid's 39 to pull forth a 118-115 victory in Game 6 to take the seven game series four games to two.
